Hydrocyclones is a common separating and classifying device, which are widely used in minerals processing flows with closed-circuit grinding classification and open-circuit classification for nonferrous metals and ferrous metals recovery, to improve metal recovery rate, increase throughput capacity, and improve economic benefit for the Miner. They are preferred especially in fine particle classification, and can also be used for desliming, desanding and thickening operations. With the development of ore dressing technology, demands on hydrocyclone go to two extremes: large diameter (high capacity) or small diameter (fine particle classification)
